Henrijs Kalkis, a board member of the Latvian Ergonomics Society, participated in the LEAN Forum, where he spoke to a professional audience about the interconnection between leadership, process improvement, and ergonomics. Event happened on 19th of March, 2026.
In his presentation at the forum, he emphasized that sustainable improvements in organizations are not possible without a people-centered approach. In this context, ergonomics helps not only to reduce overload and work-related health risks, but also to improve workflow, reduce errors, strengthen employee engagement, and build a more resilient organizational culture.
LEB consistently advocates for solutions related to efficiency, leadership, and process management to be considered in conjunction with the human factor. It is precisely this approach that creates a balance between productivity, safety, employee well-being, and organizational competitiveness.
