Members of the LES participated in the Forum organised by Mission Zero on October 20, 2023, which addressed an important issue for employers and employees – physical health of human beings, health checks and preventive measures for the preservation of ability to work. LES Board and University of Latvia professors Ženija Roja and Henrijs Kaļķis addressed the Forum participants and highlighted the current work health problems in Latvia at working age and the risks of working environment in modern business. Mission Zero was attended by employees from companies in different industries and shared experience and good practice stories about events and improvements in the working environment in maintaining employee health and building safe working conditions.
Mission Zero’s autumn forum was closely followed by Gatis Šļūka, who captured what he saw and heard in a memorable caricature.
