Ergonomic solutions and implementation support
The Latvian Ergonomics Society (LEB) helps organisations assess ergonomic risks, develop evidence-based and practical improvements, support implementation and evaluate the outcomes achieved.
Solutions are tailored to the specific work process, working environment and employees’ needs. Depending on the assignment, we involve certified ergonomists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other specialists.
Our cooperation model
We organise the work in a clear sequence so that each recommendation reflects the real situation and the effect of implementation can be evaluated.
We assess work processes, workstations, workload factors and employees’ needs using observations, interviews, surveys and appropriate ergonomic analysis methods.
We develop technical, organisational and working-method improvements tailored to the specific situation, defining their priority and practical feasibility.
We advise managers and employees, provide training and, where required, involve suitable industry professionals in the practical implementation of solutions.
Following implementation, we assess the practical effect of the changes, employees’ experience and any further improvements required.
Experience in organisations
LEB’s experience covers manufacturing, construction, office and service environments — from workload assessment to process analysis and regular employee training.
Ergonomic workload assessments were conducted for employees in a range of occupations, analysing work tasks, workload factors and working methods requiring improvement.
We regularly provide employee training on ergonomic and safe working methods, with content tailored to the manufacturing environment.
An ergonomic risk analysis of a specific production process was conducted, identifying sources of workload and developing recommendations to improve the process and working methods.
Office employees received training on workstation adjustment, reducing workload and introducing healthy ergonomic work habits into everyday practice.
We have also delivered ergonomics, audit, consultancy and training services to other Latvian manufacturing, healthcare, service and public-sector organisations.
